Welcome to the Junction City Oktoberfest!

Celebrate Junction City’s biggest fall festival with authentic German beer, delicious food, and fun for the whole family! Raise a stein and savor Oktoberfest favorites like pretzels, schnitzel, and brats while exploring over 50 food, craft, and shop vendors.

The entertainment never stops with live music from the Der Manhattan Polka Band, Brass Rewind, and more, plus traditional Bavarian folk dance and crowd-favorite competitions like best dressed, yodeling, stein carrying and stein holding.

Families will love the Kids Zone, packed with inflatables, a rock climbing wall, crafts, and activities to keep kids of all ages entertained. New this year, don’t miss our escape room experience and roaming circus performer.

With four craft beer vendors, a car show, dance performances, and so much more, Oktoberfest brings together the best of German tradition and Junction City community spirit.

Our Non-Profit Mission

Junction City Oktoberfest is proudly a non-profit festival, dedicated to bringing our community together in a vibrant celebration of downtown Junction City, Kansas. Our goal isn’t to generate profit but to create a joyful, family-friendly event that showcases the heart of our city. From live music and dance performances to over 60 vendors, a bustling Kids Zone, and craft beer from local breweries, every element is designed to foster connection and pride in our community.

Wristband and ticket sales help cover essential costs like tent and chair rentals, entertainment, and event setup, ensuring we can keep this tradition alive. Our generous sponsors bridge the gap, making it possible to welcome over 30,000 attendees to enjoy this free-entry festival each year.

Oktoberfest is more than an event—it’s an invitation to experience the warmth, charm, and energy of Junction City. We welcome visitors from Abilene, Manhattan, Salina, Topeka and beyond to join us the first weekend in October, to explore our historic downtown, savor German-inspired culture, and create lasting memories.
